It can be triggered inadvertently, like the bomb demon's punishment. Apparently there are exploding seeds planted in the losers' hearts, which will activate the next time they feel their stolen emotion.

That's the good news. [ ... ] Part of the good news. I don't know how many per team are affected, but at least we know which emotions were stolen from each.

I know it isn't Muffin or Shadow Fiend. Though that doesn't say much about Daffodil, given that only Tart was there. I guess jumpscaring Rose or Daffodil is off-limits for now.

Anyway — when Thistle bargained with the bomb demon, would you say you tricked it at all?

It isn't Crois, either.

[he spoke with him earlier, and he doubts Crois would have even been out at all if it were him. The wry smile briefly twitches wider before fading]

No, it was more manipulation than anything. We used his sister against him - how she would have felt about blowing us up, things like that.

This demon didn't seem revenge-driven at all. Quite polite for a ram demon... though I only got there at the end. Was he like that the entire way through?

Mmm, calm and professional the whole way through. Not a surprise, the fucked up doctors are always like that.

Is someone thinking of trying to bargain with him?

Not just me. Shadow Fiend, too. But we wanted to ask more about demon summoning before we jumped into it. She still needs to ask Rose if it's something they'd even want.

[leonheartedly]

[he nods faintly]

When we did it, Edgelord came with us and did the summoning. We weren't able to get the bombs removed, but things were altered more in our favor - only Lupin could set us off, an instant revival, the bombs being more . . . effective, which you saw.

Fantasia would be a good person to ask, too, considering . . . [y'know, he accidentally summoned Doki and then did it deliberately to bring her back]

Did Edgelord stay conscious during the summoning, or was he possessed? And did he have to draw the sigil?

Hah. Dunno how he'd feel being called an expert, but he's the only person I know who's done it.

But nothing happened to Edgelord; he just had to draw the sigil.

The bomb demon did have a soft spot for Weeds, so I guess that isn't too surprising.

Yeah, that's the impression I got.

The shitty doctor seemed to appreciate Weeds helping him out, so that might be worth keeping in mind.

Mmm... was the alteration something you guys specifically agreed on, or did he "gift" it to you on a whim?

Little bit of both.

He said we had guts summoning him and that we were right about Doki, but since she wasn't there her vote didn't matter.

[he pauses, trying to remember what Bonbon said]

. . . "devout yourselves to me here and now, and I'll alter my seal to only be set off by your shepherd. And when you set it off, it'll be big - the biggest - I bet it could cause a cave in."

That last part specifically piqued our interest.
