[he puffs out an amused noise, gesturing for Crois to go in first when they get to Daffodil]

It's not a bad thing.

[ He steps in, pausing when he does so and furrowing his brows. And then, he shakes his head, moving in further and looking around. ]

[leonheartedly]

[he follows him in, sticking his hands in his pockets after shutting door. He watches Crois for a moment, then:]

Feels a little weird to offer you a tour here, but - I can if you want.

[afineknight]

[ Crois takes a few steps around where he collapsed earlier. it's like there's something just out of reach, something that happened here, something that he maybe doesn't want to remember— ]

Hmm? No, no, I can ask Biscuit to do so later.

[leonheartedly]

[he hums softly in understanding]

All right.

[. . .]

Do you want me to - [get lost, but instead he seems to stumble over it and says instead] - hang around? Or leave you to rest?

[afineknight]

I get the feeling that you don't want to leave, amigo. So I won't make you.

[ He gestures. ]

Come. Show me which room is mine.

[ this is also him testing a theory. ]

[leonheartedly]

[he huffs, but dips his head in silent acknowledgement and starts for the stairs]

This way.

[afineknight]

[ well then.

He follows along! ]

[right to his bedroom door he goes]

[ He steps in, looking around, then spots the notes nearby in his handwriting.

yeah, this is his room.

Without turning around or missing a beat: ]

So did something happen between us?

[leonheartedly]

[to unknowingly add to Crois' theory, he shuts the door behind them.

He looks confused]

You're going to have to be more specific, Crois.

[afineknight]

You know where my bedroom is, Sancho.

[leonheartedly]

So? You knew where mine was, too.

[afineknight]

And you shut the door immediately as a force of habit.

[leonheartedly]

[he leans against said door, crossing his arms]

I did.

[afineknight]

So call me curious.

[leonheartedly]

[he's pretty sure he's not emotionally ready for this conversation, but.

He shrugs a shoulder]

I'm curious about what you think it might be.

[afineknight]

[ Here's the thing: because this is Crois, he's going through several "if-then" scenarios in his head.

And he likes Tyr, he does. And something's been feeling— off. Enough that he doesn't actually want to push it. He could, though. How Tyr's lingered around him, his reactions when he thinks he isn't looking, the little things — he could nail him to the wall with it.

But he doesn't particularly want to at the moment. Tyr is aware that he's aware. That's enough for now. ]

Then I guess you'll have to keep being curious, hmm?

[ He flashes a grin and moves to go through the papers. ]

[leonheartedly]

[he smiles a little back, then glances down at the floor.

It's selfish to tell him. But it's something Crois would have wanted to know, too, probably. He can't decide which one it is and it isn't something he's given much thought either, because he's been with Crois almost the entire time.

It's been a lot today. I don't mind both of us staying curious for now.

[afineknight]

Good. I'm getting the distinct feeling that you haven't rested in quite some time.

[ He sits down, starting to go through the notes. ]

[leonheartedly]

I'm fine. You should worry more about getting some rest yourself.

[afineknight]

No, no, I have you to worry about me. But who worries about you and gets on you about things like that? It will have to be me.

[leonheartedly]

[uggghhhh]

You can't do that if you don't worry about yourself first.

[afineknight]
